Pencil Sharpening on a Rainy Day

Most people like to sleep in on rainy days, but not this gal!  I take out old pencils that I’ve collected over the years and sharpen the alphabet letters into them to pass the time.  Just kidding, but a friend of mine forward this email to me and I didn’t think much of it….until I scrolled down and saw these photos.  It’s amazing!!!  Who has time to think of things like this?  Dalton Ghetti.

Welcome back to 5%

I have the best early birthday gift ever!  A 15″ MacBook Pro, wireless keyboard, mouse, awesome monitor, and a dock that is on it’s way!  It also came with an awesome note:

“94% are PC users, 5% are Mac users and 1% are Linux users.  Welcome back to the 5%!  Happy Birthday – key and casey”

All I can say is…..WHEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!  Electronics and Statistics, they really know the way to my heart!

Happy Birthday Stella

Here’s a birthday postcard I did for Stella, a boutique in Baton Rouge with an extensive collection of contemporary fashions and trendy basics from hand selected designers.  Stella has created a niche in the market by providing cozy sleepwear, designer swimwear and an extensive denim collection.

They’re having a huge summer sale up to 70% off so check it out!

Monster Series

This is the first series of artwork by Colorthieves, an alias for artwork created by me and my younger sister Anh.  This is our first collaborative design series and it’s all cause my sister has dreams about monsters with tentacles, sharp teeth and cool teddy bears.  Hope you guys like it.

Below are the sketches that were scanned in before they had a major face lift!  Each piece took about 3 – 5 hours for us to complete after they were scanned in.  I don’t know where my sister gets her interesting imagination from but hey if makes for a fun project, I’m not complaining.
